Beyond Media Global Group (“BMG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an umbrella brand encompassing BMG US LLC (New Jersey) and its affiliated entities, is committed to protecting your privacy. Affiliated entities operating under the BMG umbrella — including Beyond Media Global (HK) Limited, Beyond Media Global (Taiwan), Beyond Media Global (Australia), and Beyond Media Global China — may process personal information on our behalf or as joint controllers, and do so under this Policy and applicable data processing agreements.

2.1 Information You Provide Voluntarily

  1. 1. Identifiers: name, job title, company, business email address, phone number, and mailing address provided via contact forms, RFPs, email, or direct inquiries.

  2. 2. Commercial information: details of services requested, prior engagements, and business needs you describe to us.

  3. 3. Professional information: LinkedIn profile, company role, and industry.

  4. 4. Communications: the content of emails, messages, and other correspondence you send us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  1. 1. Digital identifiers: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, and approximate geolocation derived from IP address (city/region level, not precise GPS).

  2. 2. Usage data: pages viewed, time on page, click paths, scroll depth, and session timestamps, collected via cookies, pixels, server logs, and heat-mapping tools.

  3. 3. Advertising identifiers: cookie IDs, mobile advertising identifiers, and similar technologies used for marketing measurement and retargeting.

2.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from advertising platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and similar), data enrichment providers, publicly available sources, and event or referral partners.

2.4 Sensitive Personal Information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (as defined under NJDPA and CCPA/CPRA) such as government-issued identifiers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health data, sexual orientation, or biometric data. Where such information is required for a specific business purpose (for example, a client engagement), we collect it only with your opt-in consent and process it in accordance with applicable law.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes, each supported by a lawful basis under applicable law:

5. Sale of Personal Information and Targeted Advertising

BMG does not sell personal information for money.

However, under NJDPA, CCPA/CPRA, and certain other U.S. state privacy laws, the sharing of personal information with third-party advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising (such as through Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and TikTok Pixel) may be classified as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. To the extent this applies, you have the right to opt out.

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have substantially similar rights under the applicable statute. California residents additionally have the right to non-discrimination for exercising their rights and the right to limit use of sensitive personal information.

7.3 Rights Under GDPR and International Law

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

7.4 How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a rights request, email bmglegal@bmgww.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request” and a description of the right(s) you wish to exercise. We will verify your identity using reasonable means proportionate to the sensitivity of the request and will respond within 45 days (extendable by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice). There is no charge for the first request in a 12-month period.

7.5 Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may require you to verify your identity directly.

7.6 Appeals

If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by emailing bmglegal@bmgww.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal.” We will respond within 45 days. If the appeal is denied, you may contact the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs or the attorney general of your state of residence.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Typical retention periods are:

  1. 1. Contact form submissions and inquiries: up to 24 months from last contact.

  2. 2. Client relationship records: for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years to meet tax and recordkeeping obligations.

  3. 3. Marketing mailing lists: until you unsubscribe, with periodic re-engagement review.

  4. 4. Website analytics and log data: typically 14–26 months.

  5. 5. Advertising cookies: per the retention periods set by each platform, as disclosed in their respective policies.

When retention is no longer justified, we delete or de-identify the information.

9. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, consistent with New Jersey law and industry standards. Measures include TLS/SSL encryption in transit, access controls, logging, vendor due diligence, and incident response procedures. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.

10. International Data Transfers

BMG is headquartered in the United States, and personal information we collect is primarily processed in the United States. Our affiliated entities and service providers are located in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, China, and other jurisdictions, and personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from those locations.

Where personal information originates in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with cross-border transfer restrictions, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms including Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, adequacy decisions where available, and supplementary measures as required. By using the Site or Services from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Site and Services are directed to business professionals and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”).

Consistent with NJDPA and other state laws, we will not process personal information of known consumers aged 13–17 for purposes of targeted advertising, sale of personal information, or profiling without the affirmative opt-in consent of the minor (or, where required, the minor’s parent or guardian).
